My name is Wayne, I’m a Junior at Riviera Preparatory School in Miami, Florida. This project was born out of a passion to give back to so many deserving and hardworking people that have fallen into even worse circumstances to the global COVID-19 pandemic. I have chosen to begin this humanitarian project with my sister Sabrina Rosen to help very impoverished families and workers from Peru. My deep connection with Peru stems from my culture, my mother came to the United States from Peru over 20 years ago and has shared many stories about the rich culture that exist in this beautiful country.
Throughout my young adult life my mother and father have always ensured that I stay aware of what is going on throughout the world—whether it is a natural disaster or a pandemic. They have raised me to understand that we are truly fortunate to have the opportunity to give back through service and donations to those throughout the world who simply do not have the same opportunity as myself. As a result, I started USA World Alliance, a nonprofit organization 501 (c)(3) to deliver food to many of the impoverished families in the rural areas of Peru (pictured on the left). These families live at the top of the high hills in Peru in deplorable conditions they have no safe and consistent access to basic needs such as: food, water, electricity and much more. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic many have lost their jobs however they stay united to survive during these tough times as their family-oriented communities take care of each other in the best way they can.
Our mission is not only to help impoverished families in Peru but also the very needy in the USA, children of families in continue hardship: hunger, eviction, help us assist these families. We appreciate any donation you can make this year. Thank you for your time and for being a part of such a special initiative.
